And we were Swingin.
Swing dancing was awesome. As you know I can't dance worth a lick, but there is something about dancing in class that gets me going. Must be the girls. It was a good time, and i learned how to flip the girls. Good stuff. My heart rate was about 140-150 bom.

Worlds Strongest Man
On Thursday in 272, we did a lil worlds strongest man competition. Fun stuff. The tire was the best. I thought it was light, but with some modifications it could be a real useful tool. While we were doing these activities my heart rate got to a max of 173 when i looked. That was after I was done puching and running with the car. Good times. PEACE
Softball
I had my second intramural softball game on tuesday. I lined a shot down the right field line, and i tried to leg out a triple, but i was throw out. I also pulled my hammy, and sprained my arch on the same play. My heart rate was about 150-160 when i finished running around the bags. After that game we decided we needed to go to the Turf. Good times.

Kick Boxing
In 272 on thursday we did a lil kickboxing session. It was similar to the TaeBo, but it was more interactive. My heart rate was higher then TaeBo. It was elevated to about 155-160 steadily. I sweated a ton of bullets. I had a good time though.
TaeBo
In our 272 class we did TaeBo. This got my heart a pumping. I would say that my heart rate was at about 150-160 bpm. Why does Billy Blanks take a rest everytime he said double time? Ridiculous. It was fun though.

Thursday 11 a.m.
In 272 on thursday we did a lil circuit training. My heart rate was elevated higher than I thought it would be. I got to be about 150-160 bpm. Those peak numbers were on the stations that were on the stage. Those stations were geared more towards plyometrics. It was kinda cool doing plyos again. And this time my pants didnt fall off. PEACE
Thursday 8 a.m.
In my 8a.m. class on thursday we played a little softball. My heart rate was elevated to about 130-140 bpm. It wasnt exactly strenuous activity, but it wasnt a strenuous week either. PEACE

Thursday
On Thursday, in my 8:00 am class we ran for about 20 minutes straight. I would say that my heart rate was around 140. It wasnt too strenous. In 272, the salsa dancing went good, but i didnt see that cardiovascular element to it. That could be because we were learning, and not just dancing straight for an hour. My heart rate got to about 130 bpm. Watching Chuck dance made everything worth. Boy am i glad i got some videos. HA. love it

Late today I have our first intramural softball game. I pretty much am going to throw a no hitter. called it. We are going to dominate.

Ultimate Frisbee to the Extreme
While we were playing ultimate frisbee in class on thursday my heart rate was at approx 155-160 bpm most of the time. I was very sore from the push-ups, and the running for the whole weekend. I believe that it was an excellent activity for fitness, and if I had opportunity I would do that more often.
F'n A Cotton
In my 8:00 am class on tuesday and thursday, my heart rate was elevated to at least 150-160 bpm. We were doing fitness activities for PE classes. It pretty much was like an aerobic conditioning class. Ridiculous.

While on the treadmill on Thursday's class, my max heart rate got to 140, and it was steadily at 120-125.
Dear Baby Jesus,
I hope Chuck has watched the movie Talledega Nights.
Amen.

I am pretty sure that the MET level copmendium must be rigged. There are certain activities that do not have the correct level. But I did my calculations for the physical activity, and my calculations sya I burned 3912.3 kcal by shoveling snow at work on saturday morning. BIG NUMBER SATURDAY. My heart rate probably would have been around 140-150 bpm. Straight guess there though.

Thursday's Heart Rate
My heart rate in class was about 140-150. The warm-ups we did we good, but with so many in a row, it got tiring kind of. I definitely will be using some of those warmups when I become a teacher and coach.
Heart Rate for Tuesday
My heart rate on Tuesday was definitely elevated to a moderate intensity level. It was at about 130-140 fluxuating during class. It was a good warm-up but doing so many in a row almost made me feel like I was hitting my second wind.

VO2 Max
In class on Thursday, my max heart rate was 204. I went further than I thought I could go, and other thought I could go. I thought that the test was easier than I thought right away and once it escaladed a few levels it was very tough. In my mind I think I could have went further, but my body was close to the breaking point. After I was done I was a little bit light headed, and dizzy. I think we should do this same test at the end of the semester.
BTW. I hate the Bears.

Thursday
In our activity on Thursday, my heart rate was at a peak of 168. I kept watching my monitor after that and it was very interesting to watch it decline over time. I would almost like to do the dynamic warm-up again at the end of the semester to see what my heart rate would be then.

I have no clue if this counts...
So yesterday, I finally bought my heart ratre monitor. I played with it for a while. I wore it when I went out to eat with a couple of friends(who happen to be very pretty girls.) Before I saw them my heart rate was at 86. Once I saw them I spiked to 108. Holy Cow.
